I am Love - an Italian movie about the shenanigans in a close-knit dynasty of wealthy Milanese. All very tasteful and beautiful and sumptuous, seasoned with angst. Tilda Swinton plays a blinder. 8/10.

Oh dear. I've long been an admirer of Asian horror, it's atmospheric, creepy and bizarre; but this just looks horrendous. Like someone's seen Freddy vs. Jason and thought, yeah - we can do that!

Yes it's too long, yes Leone doesn't always know the difference between building tension and prolonging a scene unnecessarily, but I liked this. Bronson is pretty good as Harmonica, Henry Fonda's famous casting against type works well. Worth catching if you've not seen it in a while, imo.

Louis Theroux's My Scientology Movie. Unable to gain access to the Scientologists themselves, Louis hires some actors in LA and re-enacts rumours and allegations. Rascally mischievous with a dark side. 8/10.

Ted 2 (2015) Mark Wahlberg, Seth MacFarlane, Amanda Seyfried, this was so piss poor, so few laughs, I did laugh at a couple of one liners but this film was just poor, especially the dancing what was the point.... 2/10 and to make matters worse I watched the extended version....
I am apparently one of the few people with a functioning brain who actually enjoyed Ted, but even I would never for a moment have imagined that any followup could be anything other than a shameless revenue-chasing piece of crap. Seems I would've been right.

Love that film. The opening titles are classic, and the opening dialogue with four men and three horses... "Looks like we're one horse short." ... "I see two too many." :gun:

That shot of the three gunmen facing off against Bronson just before the gunfight at the start of the film is a classic.

I watched The Big Short, about the financial collapse of '07
Funny, fascinating and chilling in equal measure. Excellent performances and script. 8/10
