Edge of Tomorrow

The man in the High Castle.

Come on guys, sort it out.
Sorry. Edge of Tomorrow :banghead:
I still maintain that watching Tom Cruise die repeatedly is fab.

Texas Funeral. Mildly entertaining story about a dysfunctional family gathered together for a will reading. It's interspersed with historical events involving nutty family members, young Sparta can also see the dead rellies. Quality cast including; Martin Sheen, Joanne Whalley and Robert Patrick.

It's filmed in full screen aspect, dunno why, give it an authentic 60s look maybe.

Taken 2. Whiled away some time, it was never going to win an Oscar. I didn't make it to the end but I'm guessing he rescued his family and killed the bad guys.

Dead snow...Nazi zombies, good stuff.
The reminds me... I still haven't got round to watching Nazi Zombies yet!

Hopefully the power will stay on long enough to permit me to watch a fillum tonight.

Crawl or Die - 1/10

I'm a big fan of low budget horror, but this really was a joke. Imagine Alien set in an endless tunnel and you've got the gist of the film.

There's no discernable reason for anything that happens, the soundtrack is weird, repetitive and so badly mixed you can't hear the rare snippets of dialogue, the same story repeats itself 4 times and the last 20 minutes or so are pretty much an excuse to see the leading lady contort herself into suggestive poses.

I've only given it a point because by default I give a 0 to all Uwe Boll films, and at least this had a couple of interesting shots.
