Yes but you forgot two key ingredients...

You need to be 12 years old.
It also needs to be 1978

... then its ace!

I had a metal Blake 7 lunchbox.

I used to watch it avidly at the time, but it was frustratinlgy poor even at the time. The contemporary Dr who was hugely superior albeit only really for geeks like me when seen again now

Calgary. Excellent but dark and powerful. Not written by Hollywood script writers.

i think he is 12 years old... just in the wrong century.

Last night for me it was the first two episodes of series three of Wentworth... awesome and gruesome, as usual

The Last Castle. One of those prison movies...probably spawned by Shawshank Redemption, tho' I can't be bothered to check, with an ageing Robert Redford playing an imprisoned ex-General who unites his fellow ex-soldier inmates in a brutal military jail against the cruelties & injustices de blah de blah. It was ok, he was ok...7/10? Something like that.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
The second film in the series the Hobbit. Desolation of smaug. A long film, nearly 3 hours, but it was excellent. 8/10. Cant wait to watch the third and last film.

Currently watching Daredevil on Netflix.

Granted it's a TV series but the way it's been filmed it's more like a 13 hour movie.. and it's just sublime

Watched Breached earlier in the week and Mr Brooks last night.

Breach was pretty good, Chris Cooper was excellent as the FBI guy gone bad.

Mr Brooks is a thriller with Kevin Costner as the bad guy suitably aided by William Hurt. I like Kev, he's a good actor, made some good films and made some clunkers, this is one of the good ones. Mind you I really liked Waterworld so what do I know.
Unbroken. Curiously uninvolving. I know he had an unacceptably terrible time, but I ended up not caring that much.
There was enough there for a really good story away from the war camps, unfortunately they decided to have nearly 2 hours of graphic torture.
