Only lovers left alive. 3/10, I only persevered as I thought something was going to happen. It didn't.

Point Break, which I watched because it gets the necessary 7+ on IMDB, but which turned out to be a turkey. Load of nonsense about an FBI agent going undercover to crack a team of surfer bank robbers. About as daft as it sounds. I think the nadir was when our hero was picked on by a bunch of surfer-nazis, pounded in the stomach with half a dozen full-bore punches, but, once released, is absolutely tickety boo, no harm done. How it got 7.2 is a mystery to me.

Just watched Eddie Redmayne in The Theory of Everything, Stephen Hawking's biopic.

Incredible. I cried like a baby. Very emotional, very human and very inspiring.

Little Children on NowTV.
I'd have thought it was more a girls film, illicit romance between school run parents, Kate Winsletts character, almost a plain jane mum and a lonely stay at home dad whose wife is preoccupied with their son, to the detriment of their marriage, mixed up with the arrival of a paedophile within the community.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, it surprised me,. You're unlikely to see more of Winsletts body unless you marry her, serious storyline, plenty of black comedy moments culminating in disastrous outcomes for all the main characters.

The equalizer. It is just Death wish (X). Enjoyed it though. Denzel is a bit more believable than an ageing Edward Woodward. In fact you could say Denzel nailed it .

I wouldn't mind seeing The Equalizer, as far as I can see it's like Taken, but in B&Q.
