The Quiet Man - a fillum set in Owld Oireland, starring John Wayne in a sort of Return of the Native meets Taming of the Shrew. Terribly dated now, portraying the Irish as an amiable bunch of wife-beating boozers who love nothing more than a drunken brawl, but played with great charm and by the looks of it real affection, and overall a very jolly romp.

Arn The Knight Templar.
The Swedish version of the Holy Crusades

"Arn, the son of a high-ranking Swedish nobleman is educated in a monastery and sent to the Holy Land as a knight templar to do penance for a forbidden love."

Good enough to kill few hours whilst it was training yesterday afternoon. 6/10 seems about right.

I keep seeing that recommended to me on Netflix, is it in English or subtitled?

Thanks Satnav, not one to watch after a few pints then?
No. Not unless you like reading a lot!

Watched Tron Legacy - not so good to be honest, yet watchable to the end, as you want to know what happens, even if you know what's bound to happen. Started extremely well, with some stupid fun stunts, and get this, some genuine UNIX commands typed in - how cool is that, then the original Tron like games bits replete with late 70s music, but somehow missed the mark. Broke the "show, don't tell" rule of filmmaking more than acceptably. Maybe not a stinker, but 5/10 to be generous. A missed opportunity I think. Something like the Matrix despite being pretentious tosh, is still far more watchable and has some greatness even.

My husband chose Battlestar Galatica: Blood & Chrome and Iron Man 2.
The first wasn't too bad, not as good as the series but not too bad perhaps 6/10...
The second, I didn't finish. I hate anything that involved Americian courts, senates, anything even vaguely similar to what Iron Man 2 is... Also I was falling asleep, so I have up 45 minutes into it and went to be and fell asleep... I would rate it but are negative ratings allowed? OK, I'll be generous 0/10!

I know it's donkey's years old but just watched The Incredibles with my son. I thought it was going to be awful but I really enjoyed it!!!
