What film did you watch last night?

Yes, Man on Fire is pretty good.
John Wick is decent if you like silly violent action films.

John Wick is AWFUL. I felt so sorry for keanu, he seems such a decent bloke and he's ended up making dross like that.

I wouldn't mind seeing The Equalizer, as far as I can see it's like Taken, but in B&Q.

I leant it to a friend as he hadn't seen it. He disliked it and found The Dude annoying./QUOTE]

Laughable man,ha-ha!
I may have watched it quite a lot to remember these quotes:rolleyes::laugh:

Hard to choose but favourites are;

What are you, a farking park ranger now?

Nihilists! fark me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos

Brother Seamus? Like an Irish monk?

farkin' Quintana... that creep can roll, man (I presume someone has told Nairo about this^_^)

I hate the farkin' Eagles man

And finally;

Do you have to use so many cuss words?:laugh::laugh:

And this gets used at home a lot;

Am I wrong?

You're not wrong Walter*. You're just an peanut.

*Usually my name gets inserted here:rolleyes:.

An outstanding film ! Was lucky enough to see it in the cinema, having been impressed by the trailer a week before. Modern-dress and M16 rifles with bombs and bullets, but with the Bard's language as relevant and modern as it was centuries before. It deserved Oscars for Fiennes (acting & directing / best film) and Vanessa Redgrave as his even scarier mother. Superb supporting parts from Nesbitt & Brian Cox (the other one). At the end of the film in the cinema, everyone stayed silent in their seats whilst the credits rolled as no-one wanted to break the spell.

Some morons on IMBD were saying they couldn't understand the language and that it the language should have been re-written. .... mmm, missed the point or what?

Cool,look forward to watching it then.

Went to see Kingsman last night. Utterly brilliant and up there with my favourite films!!

Funny, brilliantly acted, especially by Samuel L Jackson as Valentine (the campest villain ever!), comic style fighting where i expected "biff" and "pow" to appear on screen :laugh:

Brilliant!!

Wild, starring Reese Witherspoon. I was in just the right mood to watch such a film and it didn't disappoint.
The Namesake. Really enjoyed this movie. I saw it right after Gandhi so I wanted something slightly light hearted but still of a serious nature.
Gandhi. What a mighty film. It left me speechless. A long film but my god a really fine documentary/movie about "the little man's" life. David Attenborough and his team done a splendid job researching and producing this one. An old film, 1982. I downloaded it some time ago and waited for the right time to watch it. Powerful. Sad. Inspiring.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Haven't posted here for a while, so Im back with malificent. I watched it the other day, starring Angelina jolie. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a good film. Well worth watching, and gives a different take on the story. 8/10

Strike by Sergei Eisenstein. The plot is full of holes, the acting hammy and there are no superheroes, explosions, comic-strip characters or love interests. But the montage!

What about Bob?
Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss.

An old and hilariously funny comedy. Am I too old now or are comedies these days just romantic niceties?

I think I'm gonna download some more old comedies...

They haven't. To add to @John the Monkey's list: Kingsman, St. Vincent, Mortdecai and Big Hero 6 have all come out recently.

I suppose they're not in the traditional mould of bouncing jokes off one guy, but they're still comedies and definitely not romantic!
