DVD player has fault. Won't turn on so looking for replacement. Would like recorder (that's what has packed in) to record some of the things I have on Sky +, but they are a little pricey compared to the one we got from Tesco 4 years ago.
But to get to the point we watched "Albert Nobbs" a nice gentle story.

Fantastic film. Its about Robinson's life in baseball (circa 1945 onwards) and the hardships he endured, his love of the game, and the legacy he left behind even to this day.

I keep thinking I'm not interested in sports movies (I have no interest in baseball or any other sports movie I've seen) but I seem to rather like sports films: rush, invictus, road, some others I cant recall. Funnily enoiugh I don't think I've ever seen a cycling movie based on true events that I really liked so if anyone can recommend one, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I bought a PS3 instead of a DVD player as , you can play DVDs , BLU-ray and MP4s ,Xvid , divx , AVI , most digital recordings plus it turns your tv into a smart tv with internet , you can also stream stuff straight from the PC ,
As the PS4 is out you should get them quite cheap now.
