I know it sounds snotty and up-one's-own-bum, but good as the film is - and it is - the book really is something special. It came to me highly recommended, and I wasn't disappointed.

Last night was Cider With Rosie (BBC 1971)... an intriguing little curio and well worth a look. Followed by Locke (2013), another intriguing little curio and also well worth a look.

The Innkeepers - a decent chiler - I suspect I'd have been more into it had the sound on my recording not stuttered constantly throughout (some kind of fault on the aerial while the PVR was recording, I guess).
