Watched Point Blank, filmed in 1967, starring Lee Marvin yesterday morning whilst doing physio exercises on my knees, it had been on my recorder for almost a year. A good film and worth a watch when it reappears on Film 4 at some point.
Absolutely one of my favourites of all time. The Mel Gibson remake is, if it needs to be said, a travesty, transforming the blank, force of nature of Marvin's Walker into a charmless, glib sociopath.

I watched Police Story III - Supercop. The usual Jackie Chan business, but no less enjoyable for that - daft, and very '80s, but a lot of fun.

Watched the Ipcress File starring Michael Caine. Good, gritty spy film. Incidentally, in the Len Deighton book Palmer isn't a cockney. He's a Lancashire lad from Burnley!

i watched a three hour documentary on yellowstone park last night on netflix. The photography was stunning. I cycled through yellowstone on the transam and grand teton, i didnt see anywhere near as many animals as in this film, but knew they were there. You have to get off the roads to see any of course.
