Von Ryan was on about three weeks ago.

Anyways, this weekend i have watched the brilliant All is Lost,Wrong Turn 5,Bourne Indentity and some Carry On`s.
That's a shame, I'll probably have to wait another month at least now.
I always watch it in the hope that one day Frank will catch the train.
The Maltese Falcon. I'd forgotten how brilliant and over the top it was. I've just dug out the novel as well.
I love the book of The Maltese Falcon, but Red Harvest is my favourite Hammett. Yojimbo, and , I think Last Man Standing are both based on the latter.

Great film. I've always liked it. I had a Great Uncle in the L.A. County Sheriffs' Department about the time that movie is set.

Noah with Russell Crowe, Ray Winstone and Anthony Hopkins.

Complete tosh, which can be very enjoyable if you immerse yourself in it.

Bur for this one I found it hard to suspend disbelief, so it's a thumbs down from me.

I watched this years ago when I won free cinema tickets. I think it was the first film I saw (or remember) whos plot was people having separate lives then intertwining. The funny thing is I could remember anything about the movie but I recall all the music (I bought the accompanying CD sound track).

Also saw Stand by Me, another movie I saw years ago.

I was going to watch that.

I caught a short bit where Ray Winstone was hamming it up as he gave a speech about the ark to a large crowd, if that's a good representation of the rest of the film I think I'll give it a miss.
