See no Evil 2,not bad for a horror fan but only once, not worth a second viewing.

Finally got 'Life of P'i from the library to watch tonight- missed it at the cinema but read the book so looking forward to see how they did it, and how much they altered!

Standard Arnie nonsense so highly entertaining and absolutely farcical. Contains gloriously suspect CGI and a few belting one liners.

It's a needed palette cleanser for the brain as Mrs RM and I are about to embark on a day long cinema extravaganza. Interstellar, The Imitation Game and Horns, thanks to Vue in Gateshead's generous free film day.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Damnation alley with George Peppard and Jan Michael Vincent. The usual nonsense with a woman screaming rather a lot for no apparent reason, but quite funny. Quite dated now though.

I'm watching the 7th (and I think the last?) season of True Blood, the vampire TV series definitely for adults. It looks pretty good so far...

I got fed up of true blood as it went so far off the books it ws ridiculous. I hated the end of the book as well. Charlaine Harris is well known for being cr@p at ending all her books.

I popped my Indian cinema cherry yesterday with Enthiran... a story about a scientist who creates a robot in his own image, gives it human like emotions and it falls in love with the scientist's fiancée. After numerous song and dance routines and much hilarity, the robot is dismantled and dumped... only to be resurrected by the scientist's arch rival and given additional 'destructive' programming. The last chunk of the film is nothing short of stunning... there's excellent CGI mixed with terrible CGI, good stunts followed by mindbogglingly lame stunts, but all in all, almost three hours of fun fun fun. Of course it doesn't all make perfect sense... especially this routine, titled Kilimanjaro...

Don't know anything about Indian cinema, but I did get put on to one film by a friend - it's called 3 Idiots, and I can't recommend it too highly. It's a big cheerful load of nonsense, but if you don't enjoy it, check for a pulse.
