Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at the cinema, utter shite 4/10. My daughter loves the Nickleodeon 2012 series which is brilliant, way better than the earlier versions of it, so I was kind of hoping the film might be as good, not to be by a long way.

There is quite a lot of praise to Kill List but i didn't like it.Even the twist at the end was sussed half way through. Its not a bad film but not worth the accolades it gets.
I like it.

It's a bit too layered at times (and depending on your interpretation of the film, there's some extraneous scenes) but I get something new from it every time I watch.

Clerks. Somehow managed never to have seen it. I can see why it became such a cause celebre - a cracking illustration of how you can make a really good movie with bugger all money if you have a great script. Far from flawless but some brilliant dialogue, and more LOL moments than in all but a handful of mainstream comedies.

5/10

After the excellent first film, a big disappointment. Without giving anything away, the timeline is absolutely knackered, and it's the director has rammed all the bad stuff into the arena which only serves to remove any sort of tension. It's also one of the worst offenders I've seen for the teal and orange disease which now seems to afflict everything.

Also, not a film as such, but well worth a watch is Our World War, which is on iPlayer. A trilogy of genuinely thought provoking stories from the first world war. Part two is on BBC One tonight.

I loved the bit where they were discussing the contractors who were killed when the Death Star was destroyed.

Edge of Tomorrow

Really funny.

How can you not laugh at Tom Cruise getting killed over and over and over...

...oh wait, it wasn't supposed to be a comedy was it?
