Where The Trail Ends. ( Netflix )

Documentary film about a group of hardcore mtb dudes and their quest to ride the most extreme terrain around the globe. The outstanding scenery and amazing ride shots make this a must see for off road enthusiasts.

Strangely, Nic Cage doesn't feature...

I think it's uplifting, that film. Eddie Marsan is brilliant, Mullan is incredible.

If you need an uplift watch Sunshine On Leith with Mullan, it's frothy and fun and light.

"The Rare Breed".

James Stewart doing an almost parodic James Stewart performance, and the most bizarre Scottish accent I've ever heard committed to film.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
The gentle gunman a film made in 1952 starring sir John Mills and Dirke Bogarde. About 2 brothers in 1941 in Northern Ireland. Its about the IRA. I've never seen it before and I had no idea they made films on that subject at that time.

I've just sat through the first 15 minutes of War of the Dead.

I knew after 5 it was a bag of shite, but forced myself to 15 just in case.

A quarter hour of my life I'll never get back.

-2/10, yes that is a minus.

The Legend of Bagger Vance - an easy-to-watch film with no action or drama other than on a golf course.

I like golf, but non-golfers would probably not enjoy it.

5/10

The last few episodes of The Originals. Season 1 was very watchable: I found myself looking forward to the next plot twist, and the characters are very interesting.

A superior found footage/mockumentary chiller. I've seen this once before, about a year ago, and was a bit worried that it wouldn't stand up to another viewing. I'm pleased to report that it does. Well worth watching, but if you can, go into it as blind as you can, no trailers, no synopses - you'll enjoy it all the more.
