American History X - some shocking violence but a good film and storyline.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
The English man who went up a hill, but came down a mountain. Not the best film I've ever seen, but not bad. 5/10

A man apart. An early vin diesel film. Lots of blood and gore, and twists and turns. Quite good film. 7/10.

A Sunday in Hell... a 70s documentary film about the Paris-Roubaix cycle race ... certainly had it's moments, especially when the French hauliers were protesting against the race. Worth a watch, even if you're not into cycling as a sport (like me).

not a film per se but watched the first couple of episodes of Pheonix Nights, a sitcom set in Northern working men's club, written by and starring Peter Kaye. I'd not bothered with it first time round. Absolutely brilliant script & cast, clever, subtle and funny. Had me giggling from start to finish. Right up there with the truly great comedy series.

The club where it was filmed is about two miles from my house.

if you've ever been to any of those types of clubs you'll know just how accurate it is.

What app is it, at the moment I'm on £6 a month Netflix?

Its called TV portal. Its not on google. You have to download it from the net. It costs nothing. You may not be able to watch every film, but so far ive been able to see around 95% of the things I have tried.
