A short time later police were contacted by staff at the Job Centre who said he had smashed nine windows with a pickaxe, causing ‘real distress to both them and other members of the public’.

And there i was today wondering why many windows in the JC were boarded up. Now i know why.

On the subject of my eye sight and the buss pass i mentioned a few months ago, i haven't got a buss pass yet. My GP said that if i got confirmation of the state of my eye sight,from my optician,she'd verify it and write to those who issue them on my behalf. When i went to see the doctor two weeks ago it was a different GP who said she'd refer me to see an ophthalmologist. It seems that they're dragging it out. Now i have to wait till my appointment in October,to see what happens. I don't think the ophthalmologist will be happy that i'm only there to get him to sign a buss pass for me. This is one of the reasons why i'm thinking about driving again. If they think i'm not "blind" enough for a bus pass then i might as well buy a car and drive again. I bet i wouldn't be the only one out there with restricted eye sight who still drives.
