just got back from docs - that man is a maniac ! i see your achey knee and raise you an injection in the shoulder - felt like he used a hollowed out bamboo cane instead of a needle ! it does not tickle

Off topic but one of the guys I work with did his clubs 8 mile TT the other day. Now he is the skinny sort and only 25 years old. He did it in 17:42, or 27.8mph average, a flat course so about 260ft ascent. I can't recall his power exactly but it was approx 380w. I don't think he is doing the Cambridge ride, although I'm sure he wouldn't have worried @LBHIFI

You're right about that - i wouldn't have worried one bit










... because I'm in the 50-54 age group .
I don't know about GB but those numbers would put him well inside cat A. My last FTP test was 20 min at 300 watts so I'm nowhere near.

Well my Bkool subscription ran out today,,. A sad day.. they emailed me to thank me “for trusting them”. It’s still snowing here in the land of the Scot.. what is a man to do?
