I met @Whorty today on the roads. Saw a fella on a single speed thought what a loon on that and then see his name all was revealed. Good to meet you mate

You was a gent sir at a time of need. There I was, 100 mtrs off a group, strong headwind, pushing to get back on, when I hear wheels coming alongside. in true Zwift fashion, I upped my power and jumped on the back of the 3 to get a welcome drag to the bigger group. Only to find it was you and your pals that gave me the lift How spooky is that. Great to meet you today Brendan although I wasn't overly chatty as I was suffering slightly at that point.

Ave speed overall was 28.9 kph (17.96 mph). I was at 30kph with 20 miles to go when those headwinds kicked in and the little lumps through the towns. gave my speed a bit of a beating. Anyway, smashed my planned time so well chuffed.

Can't get my ride to upload to Strava for some reason Refusing to sync. Humph.

I've ridden into headwinds, but not like that. Several stretches of road were nothing but headwind for what seemed like 10's of miles, that's what broke me in the end

Up until then I was quite enjoying myself. Unfinished business I think

The aches and pains have woken me up and are keeping me awake .

Anyhoo, I'm making good use of the time by checking my file of the ride. I have gone through it to see how far I got and it appears as though I did 92.35 miles. My longest ever ride in both distance and duration 8hrs6m. About 55 minutes was at various stops along the way. 7hrs12m actual riding.

I'll let HHGTTG tell you about the ride
