I have the 2 that were too tight you could try. I could Order 2 Elites from Amazon Prime next day delivery if you like.

Ref RideLondon, have you filled in the RideLondon Registration? Must be done by end of Friday. You too @bobinski

Morning Norry

I have amazon prime but thanks for the offer. They should be turning up today hopefully.

I’ve filled out the ride London form. I said I thought I’d complete the course in 4 hours 30, but now I’m thinking I should of gone shorter...

It may not be me. I'm seriously thinking about the brothers and their lack of progress, not that I'm much better. I may have to hang with them to start with to drag them along as fast as I can. I doubt I'll be doing the 15-16mph average I want to do because of that. But hey Brothers .

Don’t worry about how fast you go TB. Have you ever done 100 miles before? Just try and stay as comfortable as possible bud. Check your averages after you’ve crossed the line :okay:

First time for all 3 of us. I'll just be doing 4 25 mile rides in quick succession, on the same day . I'm not worried about the avgs, I'm concerned that my brothers are having a crisis of confidence and will fail to complete . One is already looking to book again asap for the same ride, wheather it's unfinished business or the desire to keep going with the bike riding I am unsure .

I'm looking forward to the ride. New territory for me. I'll just concentrate on completion of the first half, most of the climbing is in that, and then enjoy the flatter second half.

Yes I said 4:30 to 4:45 My previous best is 4:40 which was within the top 10% of finishing times. Hopefully get an early starting position.

The ToC App has now been updated for 2019. I've checked and the App we used last year seems to work for 2019 so doesn't seem we need to downlaod a new one. Good plan for those who didn't do it last year, download the App now, it is quite useful.

Sadly I have to bail on ToC. I have had a virus all this week and it’s not clearing. All I have read suggests it’s obviously not sensible to ride with a virus. It’s a real shame coz I was really looking forward to trying to stay with Norry and seeing everyone. Enjoy the ride- May the road rise up to meet you.

OH no - what a shame. Probably wise though, with a virus. Also lets your knee recover more.

You can track us on the App - be like "watching" a Zwift race

Did you sign up for RideLondon?

That's a real shame Bob and one less wheel to suck on Sunday . I hope it doesn't keep you off the bike too long.

If it's any consolidation I've never done 100 miles either before ^_^ The DD 2 years ago was only 95 miles and apart from that I've done two 65 milers. O don't think we'll be the only virgins on the day though :okay:. Important thing is finishing and enjoying the day.

Arggh, that sucks. Maybe I'll see you next year, or perhaps even next week. Me and family are staying near Vauxhall st. until Wednesday.

Any tips from Londoners (steetfood, pubs...)?

That 95 mile DD ride is like 2 ToC rides IMO. That you did it having an Froome attack says a lot about your fortitude :notworthy:

I've done double digits but have never stretched to triple digits .
