I recently got the Elemnt Bolt Bill and the DD was the first ride I used it to follow a route. I previously had a Garmin 800 and I have to say I was very impressed with the Elemnt Bolt. There were a couple of bits of ropey signage on the DD this year so I was glad to have the route to follow on the Elemnt (signage was much better two years ago)

Yeah, I think we would all agree the signage was pretty poor this year. If I'd been on my own I'd have definitely got lost.

Thanks for the info chaps. I looked them up and not ridiculously expensive so I should probably get one. Might wait until next year before getting one if I'm not going back out in the rw before then. I noticed @kipster had a ride profile on his but don't know if that was also a Wahoo Elemnt or not. That looked really useful to me for knowing when the really tough gradients are coming up.
I've got the Elemnt bolt, if you get the Elemnt, the gradients look bigger because of the bigger screen ;)

There is always Ying and Yang in a family

Don't let Bob touch your bike;)

I have to say I do find it quite funny that there were 6 bikes and all the luggage stashed or rather squashed in my back room and I was terrified Tommy’s bike would come out of it damaged.
My eldest came home waking me at 2am because he couldn’t get his house keys to work  and stumbled towards the back room. I walked away back upstairs think “what’s gonna happen is gonna happen...”

Anyone check Tommy’s bike and lightweight wheels this morning?

I've never seen Lee run so fast trying to get Tommy's wheels as they were rolling down the road

I made the tea and warmed up that bun:smile:
While you and Dean nattered away with Kath over UK housing crisis:smile: Then I quietly ironed my sons school shirts all the while listening to natter natter from the 3 of you. I hope you two are quieter in the mountains:tongue:
Have you ever thought of taking up ball room dancing - the way you dodged all questions and side stepped answers - you are a talent
