I think it will carry on as the money raised goes to a local charity and county do a few group rides aswell where any 1 can turn up free
I was making the observation, with such few numbers taking part, how is it financially viable. Unless the organisation is treating it as a loss leader and recouping via sales or advertising
it's run as a local charity ride, it isn't affiliated to one of the big names. The Facebook page is sparse, the advertising is non existent. I think he does it for the love of cycling in Wales and nothing more. If he raises a few quid for the local hospital then happy days.
I think I'll have to get one of those for next year. What device is it you guys have?1 thing I learnt about this ride is to put the route on the wahoo in future

I recently got the Elemnt Bolt Bill and the DD was the first ride I used it to follow a route. I previously had a Garmin 800 and I have to say I was very impressed with the Elemnt Bolt. There were a couple of bits of ropey signage on the DD this year so I was glad to have the route to follow on the Elemnt (signage was much better two years ago)I think I'll have to get one of those for next year. Hey chaps, when do you leave for the Pyrenees? Very jealous - and I'll be looking out for the tales and Strava exploits
Thanks for the info chaps. I looked them up and not ridiculously expensive so I should probably get one. Might wait until next year before getting one if I'm not going back out in the rw before then. I noticed @kipster had a ride profile on his but don't know if that was also a Wahoo Elemnt or not. That looked really useful to me for knowing when the really tough gradients are coming up.Bill, alot us now have the Wahoo Elemnt (large screen) or the Elemnt Bolt(small screen). They work identically
