Anti rule 5 day. It was raining but had a hotel in Edinburgh so took the train. And much like @berty bassett I fell off the bike in a slow motion fall. The wheel just slid out on slippery bricks. Also I sustained an injury. A blister on my finger.

Are you going for the Gran Fondo Lee? (Limited to 100 per age group, qualifier for the Gran Fondo World Championship in Poland next year). Entries for the Sportive, which I think the rest of us are doing, doesn't open until next Monday

Maybe it will be a short course for you older buggers ... don't want to stress out those old bones (not that @berty bassett has many left unbroken!)

2019 Sportive will be a choice of 55, 75 or 100 miles. I'll be signing up for the 100 miles I think

Just spotted that I need to read all the posts first, then go back and make comments LOL
