Hi Martin

You do not currently have a prov Q but this may change.

Please check your result via our web site. You have a provisional Q by your name.

https://www.resultsbase.net/event/4401/results

timingcrew@resultsbase.net

We can only show a Provisional qualification status on the day as any disputes about timings still have to be cleared up and these changes may very well affect the qualification status of some competitors as you will appreciate.

Results Base are working on the Tour of Cambridgeshire results today.

When all issues are resolved a final qualifiers results list will be published and sent to the UCI who will email qualifiers direct with their invitation to the UGFWC in Varese. This will be approx.. 2 weeks after the event.

Un-collected medals can be claimed with an SAE post event. Send a stamped addressed envelope (large letter stamp required) to Golazo Cycling Ltd, PO Box 1352, Peterborough PE2 2QP.

Please include a note with your name, event, age group.

I know you're only joking, but nothing to take the P out of unfortunately Whorty - Bob was only 10 minutes behind me (along with Norry). All down to a couple of key moments when you either missed latching onto a particular group or not really - very much like a Zwift race - but much longer and more dangerous! I think we got split up on one of the hills near the start - I'd spotted a group I wanted to stay with so pushed hard to stay with them up the hill and I remember Tommy saying he was doing 700 watts to keep up with the group too at that point

Very much like Zwift, if you miss the chance to latch onto the pack, pretty much forget catching up.

Are you saying @bobinski didn't finish with you? Was he behind you a long way?

(I don't really know why I'm taking the P out of Bob with the DD coming up and he will get his revenge with cream on top after that :surrender: )

I don't need revenge Carl. My revenge was complete when you bought the kickr and transitioned to Zwift ( not that you have of course ) Anyway, tickets up for grabs for next years event. You in? We must all do it:hugs::thumbsup:

I took the day off work to spend some time with my daughter. The fact I’m wrecked is obviously a complete coincidence...

That’s the hardest I’ve ever gone in the real world. 80 miles with no stops at that pace is quite a nice marker. I don’t regret pushing so hard but it’ll take a few days before my legs are talking to me again. My knee is quite sore today but my shoulder is fine, so hopefully the routine I’ve got is paying off.

If I’m being honest it was also nice finishing at the front. It doesn’t feel like a victory. And not because I like rubbing your faces in the dirt (well not much anyway.... :cuppa:). But because I’ve come along way the last few years fitness wise and it’s nice to be seeing tangible results.

Its all yours Tommy:thumbsup:

I can hear the siren call of the Pyrennes

Agreed! Cheers Andy. I didn’t realise how close we all were for so long. Was it hard to overlay all the data onto the footage? It’s very cool. I should really get this set up for France.

Not really, I've never used Virb edit before so just took a few minutes to learn how to navigate and import video, also add gpx files. Google and YouTube help with quick learning!

I would suggest a fast powerful pc with a big hard drive, preferably non SSD.(my last SSD drive died with all the video processing).

Take the memory card out of GoPro and install into usb socket on pc to transfer files over, much easier than GoPro software.

Go to Town. If you are definitely wanting to overlay data, I would suggest pause the Elemnt and start as you begin ride so you can edit the video and the gpx data will match the start of the video file, if you get what I mean. If you have one long gpx file it will be near impossible to stitch different rides together without search through gpx files for data points
