Chris Rea has an unusual medical condition resulting in his left femur being 7cm longer than his right. Also his left tibia and fibula are 7cm shorter than his right. The result is that although his legs are the same length, his left knee is lower than his right, which is the cause of his rather unusual tap-dancing style.
