I thought of getting there on Friday too, maybe meet up with whoever's around in the evening then wash away the aches with a few more beers Sat night. I'll be coming up in a camper van, there seem to be several places I can stop in the area so I'll probably look for one nearest to where the most people will be on Friday.

Whatchu think Rich, just incase? Sod's law we get to the bikes in the morning and discover somebody has a flat rear...

Also - what's the concensus on mudguards? I have taken delivery of Crud road race 2's this very day (19 quid special offer from Evans). Do I spoil the Cube and fit them, also risking damage in transit, or risk it sans-guards? Will folk moan if I spray water off my back tyre in their faces all day - what are the rest of you planning?

I'll be on the wagon, on Friday - mefinks

I was intending to bring the pump Ducky. I have some of those clip on mudguards but as it's going to be dry and :sun: () I don't think we'll need them.
I shall not be on the wagon on Friday as I have not enough willpower to resist beer when I'm in a pub.

I'll be very surprised if I'm riding behind you ducky and even mudguards sans flappy thing, spray crap up. Mind you can't be as bad as the dog looked today when we went for a ride on the mtn bike. I looked behind and thought I was being followed by a swamp creature.

Track pump is a good idea. I also only have one spare tube as I had to ditch one today. So if anyone has another spare, spare, can you bring it along, I won't have time to get another. Tah.

Okay cool, and I am inclined to leave the guards off. No probs with the wheels - we'll sort it out easy enough (no pun).

I can't believe you made the dog run behind you taking a face full of mud!
What valve lengths do you need - if it's standard size, I have a spare, spare... will try to remember it (I'll be bringing a cpl of long valve ones for the Cube).
