That's interesting; I'm taking the opposite approach. I'm going to use one my oldest and heaviest bikes - 'cos it is very comfortable to ride - imo, the most important consideration, for a ride of this distance

. . . and yes, it'll have good lights fitted !

My new bike is the peddling silk compared to my Scott . And is sooooo smooooth to but I'll still be blowing out my arse hahahahaha
 
I've just changed the one off my scott but will be investing in some carbon shimano ones soon and I am 5-7
Actually it doesn't matter about the pedals, so long as you've got the same size feet, I can have a go...

....not really, I'd be scared of having a clipless moment and scratching your bend new bike (I'm afraid I have form on this)
 
There's more chance of me making it on this ride than letting some one on my new toy lol

I think that you will be; it looks like a 34 on the front and at the back, I reckon that you've a 30 or 32 ?

Should be more than enough . . . . . . . assuming LD has no 'surprises in store. :smile:
