Never mind the machine gun fire; what about the 25% climb  ?

Rode over Mynydd Eppynt in the dark under machine gun fire last night, this shouldnt be a problem, mind you i did walk about 100 meters of the 25% bit

Can someone please tell me, will there be, a 25% climb on this ride ?

Good news - Ossie managed 5 pints of medicine last night
Bad news - he has torn the ligaments in his thumb and will need a cast or an operation.

Okay, so he can't sink a pint - bad news  . . . shouldn't stop him cycling, though !

That's interesting; I'm taking the opposite approach. I'm going to use one my oldest and heaviest bikes - 'cos it is very comfortable to ride - imo, the most important consideration, for a ride of this distance

. . . and yes, it'll have good lights fitted !
