Vingo looked decent and Roglic less so but you have to love the boyish, racing instincts of Remco and Pog.

Nah, it was going nowhere useful and wasn't worth the effort just to tow Vinnie to the line. Very cool move by Pog and Remco to sit up when Vinnie wouldn't work.

And perhaps it was an example of old-fashioned etiquette returning - where GC riders don't ruin the breakaway's chances? Tends to make friends amongst the guys in the break, win-win.

One more or less interesting fact of tomorrow's stage: the finish is in Saint-Amand-Montrond.
Saint-Amand-Montrond is twinned with Nottuln. Does that mean anything?
