I thought it was a great stage to watch.
I know some riders didn't like it and thought it had no place in the TDF, but I like the idea of the odd types of different terrain to be raced over.

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Ned Boulding and David Millar, getting excited and getting it wrong, again. I'd watch it on Eurosport if I wasn't too tight to pay for it.
Eurosport is free to air on satellite.

With German commentary only, so you get the great Karsten Migels instead of the two nobbers. Hatch-like levels of knowledge without the accent shifting with each name.

Unlucky for Pidders there,really thought he had that !
As for the battle for GC great stage with plenty of drama....which ended up coming to nothing! Think we can say Vingo looks back to form from that ride, especially when he took Tratniks bike and still couldn't be dropped !
Great rider but feck is Vingo frustrating to watch !
Remco was class...telepathic with Landismo 😍
