I think ITV4 has just informed us that the recently deceased Gilbert Desmet had been the oldest living cyclist to have worn the yellow jersey in the Tour de France. Lifted straight from Wikipedia it would seem.

Hope it's not this all the way to Paris!!

Geminiani and Rolland are both 99, as is Bernardo Ruiz, Vuelta winner in 1948 and third in the 1952 Tour. His story is pretty remarkable - well worth checking out.
