I know. I was reviewing the stages remaining and there's so much stuff yet to come!

It was a bit of a gamble from Prudhomme. As it turned out we've still got a race on our hands after some very hard stages. But if Pog's recovery from injury hadn't been so good, then piling so much hard stuff into the first week could have backfired and left us with a bit of an anticlimax of two weeks of Jumbo riding defensively.
Yea I know what you mean...no chance of that at the moment lol.
Third week looks to favour Jumbo/Vingo as they've by far the strongest team.UAE don't look anywhere near them,I'm hoping they can up their game a bit.Fortunately though Pogi is at his absolute best ! I just hope he can sustain it.
Ineos with two on the top ten could be up for some fun,Pidders new GC ambition ? He was class yesterday which should maybe give us some indication of a future GC contender.

And Pinot is going to win on the Grand Colombier on 14th Jul. Dead cert. ;)

Rest day and maybe a chance for Jumbo to re-think their tactics? Not that I know much about bike racing but maybe they should just sit on Pogacar's wheel inside of constantly trying to crack him. It may be interesting if Adam Yates launches an attack to see what both Jumbo and Tadej would do.

All Pog has to do is stay in Vingo's wheel regardless of what Jumbo does and attack in the last 2 kms.

It's not going to quite be as easy as that.

I get that but I've often wondered why not! Just not done old boy? the team will make it difficult for anyone else to muscle in? Sprinters will take any old wheel they can if they have to (whilst obviously preferring their own team's) and 'wheel suckers' are part of legend (Cadel anyone?).

What other battles are there?

There's a ~2 min gap from Hindley in 3rd at 2'40" to Rodruiges and the two Yateses on 4'+. So still room for a podium fight there.
Phillipsen seems to have green nailed on.
If we're desperate we might look to the mountains jersey for some entertainment.
White jersey? Er, no.

Either Pog or Vingo will more than likely take the KOM ? But I fancy Rodriguez for a podium, hopefully he'll come good as we go on.
