You've got to feel sorry for Cav.

I liked that Merckx was mentioned on TV during every TdF sprint stage. It was good for the youngsters to know who was the best rider in history.

I really wanted Cav to make it 35 and take the record, but this might not be popular, I don't think Cavs 34 are on a par with Merckx's.
