I'm a first thing in the morning rider, but only when it's light enough. Although I've got lights and fluorescent stuff etc I worry about not being seen when its dark. Big scaredy cat that I am!
I find that at night if your using reasonable lights and reflective gear the other traffic gives you a wider berth than during the day and I actually feel safer at night (apart from pot holes and unlit dogs on my regular cycle path!)

Nay, I'm not scared at night. Not even of riding in the big dark park :becool:
Mostly I keep to the main roads: really find my helmet light useful, point your head towards side roads to alert drivers of your presence before they consider leaping out.

Pleased to say its been light enough about 6.15am to get out for a sneaky quick circuit recently, although that will change for a while come clock changing weekend. Sets my day up good and proper to whizz round the block :-).

Went out the other day for the first time for 10 days or so, felt very heavy and sluggish before heading out (too much food and wine whilst visiting my sister) but smashed my PB and felt excellent. Funny how a few numbers can make a whole load of difference to your mood. Beat my previous fastest downhill, and increased my overall mph. One very happy bunny!

Well I havent been out since that last post. I rescued a 9ft angry burmese python and she has pretty much had my time all week! I may get out later but am not very well at the mo (self inflicted  ) so might not be till tonight... I have however lost 4lbs which isnt much but means I am below 17st now! Yay!

Will keep you posted!
