What about you and Carol D, and do I really want to hear this?
I still remember the video for 'Sex Talk' where (IIRC) she was wearing lingerie and very little else:tongue::biggrin:. It's a damn good job I can't get YouTube at work;)

I've got it on video somewhere...
One of my first dates with my current partner, that was.
Handy hint - 1984 is not a good date film.

I once saw the Thompson twins in Northampton. This was before the ToTP stuff, and they had about loads of bongo players on stage too. Maybe I got the wrong group, but i don't think so.
The 80s were great for really good music, and I now ironically appreciate some of the tosh i hated a the time, too.

I don't think so - the Thompson Twins were a much bigger and less mainstream band at one point. I think they all lived in a squat in London somewhere. But a few of them decided to go commercial to the disgust of the bongo-playing brigade...

8min 25secto spare anyone. I believe this is the longest song to get into the charts.

Do'ya know what it is yet?

Without clicking on it - I would guess 'O Superman' by whatever her name is - something Anderson. I keep thinking Gerry Anderson, but I think that's the Thunderbirds bloke.

*clicks*

Yay! Haven't heard that in ages.
