Couldn't be arsed clicking on eighties utube links so sorry if you beat me to it. It was Laurie ANderson. A rare treat in a musiacally bleak decade.

Prince did some interesting stuff though. Sounds more and more avant Garde and less and less pop as it ages.

But those who grew up in the 80s (well, most of us) are now of an age to be all nostalgic about them, especially the music. And, given some of the stuff we've heard since then (Robbie Fucking Williams, anyone?), eighties music doesn't sound half bad.:smile:

The sound quality's not all it could be, is it? Say what you like about the eighties, they had the production side of it pretty well sorted.:smile:
Sounds like it could be good though.
