I can say it but not to the people that would make any difference..,,but....
Sally Bundock, BBC business presenter...you don't have to sound so gleeful when you announce that crude prices are at their highest level for 2 years. I know it's (supposedly) good business news, but only good for a miniscule few...bad for millions of motorists, transport users of every kind, everywhere.

You like drinking to excess, smoking and spending much of your life with your rotund, overfed face glued to a phone screen.

Me not particularly being partial to the above 'activities' really does not make me the 'saddo'...

How the f**k should I know??? I do not and I repeat I do not work in that department so how the hell am I supposed to help?
That sounds so familiar and it' one of two things...laziness....or laziness.
Too lazy to find the right person to ask so just ask anyone.
Or, I've asked...now it' not my problem any more

My colleague is a lovely guy but I think his head is so full of work related stuff that he forgets what I have told him

Puzzle game procrastinator!
I must tell you about witnessing one of the most amazingly bad driving errors that I have ever seen! I can assure you that if I give you a lead up to it, you are not going to guess what happened next! :okay:

So there I was, early in my ride, heading along a fairly busy B road. I noticed a driver ahead of me on my left wanting to turn right from a minor side road. He looked straight at me and ...

What happened next?

Yes - he floored the throttle and shot out in front of me.

No - that isn't it ... I half expected him to do it and was already braking so he didn't hit me.

Any ideas ...?

Ok, I'll put you out of your misery! The driver had been totally focussed on pulling out in front of me rather than waiting a few seconds for me to go by. So focussed in fact that he totally forgot to look left before pulling out ... If he had looked then he would have seen that there was a tractor towing a large trailer into the space that he would soon be occupying! Even worse, the tractor had created a tailback of 8 or 9 vehicles. The tractor driver was close enough that I could see the look on his face as this unfolded. He screamed and blasted the errant driver with a VERY loud blast on the tractor's horn, quickly followed by horn blasts from the other 8 or 9 drivers who could see what was happening. F**kw*t driver swerved right, out of the way of the tractor, which meant that he was now heading straight for me so he swerved back left again to avoid me and almost hit the trailer, swerved back right and almost got my back wheel, swerved back left and almost hit the car following the trailer, swerved right again and almost hit the car behind me ...! All the while, every other driver on that stretch of road was honking away at him and waving fists. Mad driver somehow managed to fishtail between the 2 streams of traffic and actually get past the tractor without killing anybody. Somebody should track him down and give him an award of some sort. If 100 drivers attempted that manoeuvre, there would probably have been 99 collisions!
I would like to say "Impressive driving skillz, sir!"

Well done XC trains - we've had tickets booked for months and now you're only providing a reduced service this weekend in which neither of the trains we've got reservations on will run.
So we either take a chance on being able to get on one of the handful of trains that are running with no reservations, or go one one of Northerns 1980s relics that takes twice as long, using tickets that cost twice as much as we needed to pay.

Next time I'll drive.
