You can't get that many, on a daily basis, then.

I dont get paid enough for that. Thats also not how my job works either. Its not my job to catch thieves. Im mainly there just to deter them. If i do then thats a bonus

I think I remembered what the 3rd thing was earlier on in the thread....

The general lack of consideration/responsibility towards others. If you happen to accidently knock over a yellow 'hazard sign' please pick it up...
Dont stare at it for 30 seconds then walk off, because how would you like it if another customer did the same thing and you ended up slipping and injuring yourself on a wet floor? Not to mention the other customers who jus STEP OVER the sign when its knocked flat on the floor like it wasnt even there to begin with. If your pet dog or cat sh!ts or pisses on the floor in your house, do you leave it so that other family members or visiting guests may step or slip on it?? I highly doubt you would. Show a little common decency.

Same thing goes to people who accidently knock things off the shelf and dont bother to pick it up or put it back where it originally was. And then we come to those who knock things off the shelf or drop things that end up smashing on the floor and just walk off like nothing happened and dont bother telling any of the staff what happened so they can call a cleaner...

Before I worked in this job, never thought other shoppers were this bad, but in this sort of job it really opens your eyes to how bad quite a lot of people are when it comes to doing their shopping. Not counting the people that come in to steal -- they are something else all together.

srw

It's a bit more complicated than that...
You are a prize selfish twit. Wake up to the reality that I need you to do stuff, and remember that I can go around your boss. We both know that you don't want the job you've got, but now that you've got it we need to make the best of it.

I am not running a social club here, I am running a public sector office department. The lot of you can shape up, start doing as you are asked, otherwise you will see the other side of my temper that only very rarely comes out, but when pushed it will!!
You are having the same problems as me: mind not to say anything, or HR will be down at you like a ton of bricks because the staff will refuse to work with you ^_^
