Well you see you hired me for what you said was a skills-based role but we both know it is really an internal and historical knowledge-based role and the internal and historical knowledge person left on Friday. Without, you'll recall, a job to go to, that's how much fun they were having. I've been here 10 days. He had been here 10 years. I'm not a chuffin' clairvoyant so no I don't have a Scooby. But neither do you. And that's a worry.

Put aside your own opinions on smoking, we all know its bad for you..even my wife who partakes....
But sit outside the hotel on tables provided, with ashtrays, among maybe 10 smokers and start turning your nose up as you sit next to our table, then mutter and move off further up the hotel frontage....don't expect any sympathy, go sit where the non smokers do.
Or put impolitely, feck off, you wouldnt go sit in the smoking area in a pub back home then start moaning, so why do it here ?
