Hello TV Licensing. You have sent thirty threatening letters to me over the last ten years demanding to know whether or not I have a TV at work. I have now managed to work out what I think your strategy is. If my suspicions prove correct either tomorrow, or any day in the future, I will not say anything. This will allow you to think your strategy has worked. Until, that is, the next time you wish to use this unnecessarily convoluted, mind bogglingly complicated strategy.. On that occasion, it will not work, and you will be left wondering why.

The original 20yr old software was a collection of spaghetti code, mangled beyond it's original spec and forced to do things it was never intended, the original architect was an idiot with less understanding of a relational database structure than my 5yr old.
Employing a bunch of second rate has-beens and college leaver never-will-be "developers" was not a good idea when you wanted an updated version, no matter how cheap they were.
Now, no matter how much work I do to correct it, the thing will never be stable, and eventually I will quit and you will lose the last person who knows how big chunks of this system hang together.
In the meantime F**k off out of my office, and go play with the traffic.
