Its already 25°C here at 5:30 am. Supposed to be getting up to 40°C later. Im on the "cool" south coast of South Australia. 45 forecast for a bit further inland. Phew, thats hot.

Bright and sunny for the first time in yonks.

But as we had been awake for 36 hours straight (went to a party the night before last and somehow it just kept going) and we didn't emerge from our pit until late this morning; we seem to have missed most of it.

That's some serious flooding you're having there.

No flooding where I am. Not seen any recently but inadvisable to leave a car longterm in Lochavulin car park in Oban. The usual large puddles in Pass of Brander but nothing serious.
