The main difficulty with bananas is finding yellow ones, although Tesco's shelf was completely empty last Tuesday and Friday.

Rode the london2brighton, back in the 80's, when "Raleigh Banana" was a pro team. On reaching the Brighton finish, there was a Raleigh Banana table, giving away free bananas. Lost count of how many bananas I ate that day.

I had the bike, bought second hand, though I don't think it was up to serious racing standard as it was as heavy as a blacksmiths anvil!!
