What light is on? Oil level or oil pressure? Unlikely that either would cause brake issues though.
Level sorted it now..

If it's as good as the diesel Octavias!!Test-driving a Skoda Octavia (estate) plug-in hybrid at the weekend, looking for a replacement for Mrs Legs' long-in-the-tooth Kia Cee'd. We've already got an EV (MG4) so have the charging set-up at home. We drove a Skoda Superb shortly before Christmas and were impressed - am I going to be as impressed with the Octy? I understand that the PHEV model has been discontinued, but there are some good deals on Autotrader (we'd be looking to buy a lightly-used second-hand one).

It’s probably the same drivetrain as the Mk7 Golf GTE, 1.4 ltr engine and electric motor, they’re a good tried and tested combination, although a bit old tech, the electric only range is very limited.
In the 7 seat, the extra seats looked like they had precious little leg room. If the normal rear seats move forward, that would make sense.@gbb
Not sure about the others, but the Kodiaq has the sliding rear seats, bigger boot, or more legroom
