'Next door but one' has a VW T5 Caravelle
2.5TDi(?)
8-seater
LWB
They bought it new, on a '05' plate, it's only covered about 135,000miles!!
It has all the room you'd want, & still has a good luggage space, when in full 8-seater mode, & a van when used as a 5-seater

Plus, on a more of a personal preference point, theirs is on 16" wheels, so has a decent sidewall aspect
I regularly see a LWB T5 van, that's on 20" wheels (they look like, & I understand they can be used, Range Rover Sport alloys), it looks silly, as the tyres look like 'rubber-bands'!!! (with very limited rim protection, against kerbing damage)

I miss ours tbh.

Passed the test, just worn front brakes as advisories. I can do that myself rather than pay the £436 they wanted for it.
