Morning. Only just above freezing and last nights damp roads and pavements are now glistening. Looks dodgy for walking so I’m not risking it. I’m getting more and more scared of falling the older I get.

Very sensible. Living yards from the Leeds Liverpool canal it's rare for me to have this problem. However when I'm planning to ride there only needs to be a hint of ice or frost and I stay home. Broken bones take a long time to heal at our age.

Good day. It looks damp and cold outside. My bikes need cleaning, hopefully there'll be a couple of warm hours later. I slept well till 4.00am but I've been awake since and I'm starting to feel dopey. I'm wondering about going for a snooze.
The ironing needs doing. I need to play with the new recording box as it isn't behaving. Tonight we're going to see Nina Conti at the Opera House, Manchester.
