Good Morning. The wind sounds windy outside but it's too dark to tell how strong it is. Another eight hour sleep has done me a lot of good. I went to bed feeling very achey, that's largely gone though my calves still ache. I'll get the roller out soon.

Today? Well not a lot. I'm heading to the gym for a circuit training class, new for me but could be fun. I'm trying to get real exercise every day. The weather has limited me to one ride in January - we're planning to jump on a club ride on Saturday - weather permitting. Currently forecast at 2⁰ at 8.00am, sunshine and 8 mph winds. 🤔

Later I'll clean the house and generally tidy round. We have friends coming round for curry and Springsteen. I've blagged a log in to Disney+ from my DIL. We're all huge fans and will settle down to watch the "documentary" Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. It's a critically acclaimed insight into how the performances are built and filmed on the 2024 tour.

Barnet,
Good morning all from a wet and windy Barnet.
The cats have rushed off into the garden, but didn't look too happy.

Good morning from a wet and windy Poole. Several alerts so far today, but they were from the repurposed security cameras monitoring the hedgehog houses. The field mice that have taken up residence have been out and about looking for food, they're fun to watch, big eyes and ears and super cautious. It's like having my own Winter Watch set up 😁
Edit to say that they've taken up residence under the hedgehog houses, not in them, Mrs Tiggywinkle wouldn't like lodgers🦔

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I have the weather warnings turned off as well. I think I can decide what I should be doing when bad weather us forecast, and they have been saying for days how bad it will be, so I don't need any alarm going off on my phone to tell me what I already know . It may be just me, but I find it intrusive.
