We were talking about digital driver's licences a week or two back. Not sure if it was in this thread or another.

They are finally coming this year!

Very late night so having a bit of a duvet day. A lovely morning of Cuddling & Kindling!

I have to get up soon though, as I have an impending session on the treadmill and turbo trainer - if I don't do them I will miss my Garmin Intensity Minutes target for the week. And that would bug me for yonks!

Peeking out from behind the curtains reveals yet another dripping wet and foggy day - these are relentless at the moment.

Have a great (balance of) day, all.

Update - kids gone - house tidied of toys and general whatever

need to hoover under the table to remove the remains of Greggs sausage rolls - as usual there seems to be 3 times as much in crumbs as there was sausage rolls!

need a rest now!

tomorrow I willhave to explain to the builders why their neat pile of sand on the front drive looks like a 4 year old has climber all over it!!!

will also need to get my car cleaned because there appears to be a load of sand and sandy footprints all over the back - for some reason!!

A job I meant to do yesterday but got sorted this morning.
I fabricated a mudguard bracket for my trailer and welded it all up.
New mudguard should arrive by Wednesday and will be bolted on then.
Quite pleased with my handywork - took me less than an hour. :okay:

Finally, all the decorating is finish and I mean finish for good for me.
Tomorrow, the new carpets are being fitted everywhere. I am very grateful that my son in law owns his own carpet shop. It saves me a lot of money and I know it will be done properly.
Ready for a glass of Baileys for an aperitif and my tea now.

I knew the deadline was today, 19th January, due to the QOTW and the Guardian Thursday Quiz.

They're useful for something than just point scoring.
