Bruce walked round the parish. No ball or Frisbee today - I like to give him one day a week with only gentle exercise as he can't tell me about any minor niggling injuries, gives him some recovery time.

Back on the ball tomorrow morning. He has 30 good throws and chases each at max thrust, so by my estimation he runs over a mile at full tilt each time. No wonder he's so athletic looking. He's the Linford Christie of labradors.

Got a bit behind - so sorry if I have missed anything!

anyway we have the kids - they stayed over so their Dad could go out on the p*** meet some friends

I took the 2 boys for a walk yesterday
I think I brought the wrong ones back as they were playing happily together through the woods and all evening until bedtime
which they never do without problems for more than a few minutes

This morning I was woken up by a herd of rampaging Heffalumps at 7:30 - turns out that the little one now gets himself out of bed when he wakes up and goes looking for the others
up to now he always snuggled under the duvet and had to be encouraged to come downstairs

The eldest (12) said she was trying to keep them quiet - but one of the Heffalumps had a distinct female voice - just like a 12 year old girl - so I think she might be selecting the truth about the events!!!!

anyway - their Dad is coming to collect them early
currently 10:30 and his Mum- the kids Gran - AKA SWMBO suspects we will be lucky if he turns up before lunch!!!

I've watched this several times now, bit for some bizarre reason I can't hear a single thing she says.

I can't explain that and I can't see the little loudspeaker icon.
