During this afternoons walk with Millie she has gone quite lame on her front left leg. I have checked for thorns or cuts and can't see anything,, and I didn't take the ball so she was running around madly.
I have got an appointment at the Vets at 7.30 this evening.

Hope Millie is ok.

MrsD decided that we needed to in out for a walk to see the snow, so we had a drive up to Chargot woods.

The inhouse caff in our Asda was 'replaced' by a MacDonald's several years ago.

Asda are putting loads of concessions in, we went to the Milton Keynes Asda recently (next to IKEA) it now resembles a motorway service station.

Mrs Gunk is a Waitrose shopper, she almost required oxygen.

Hope Millie is ok.

It looks like she has trodden on something, or maybe slipped slightly on the frozen field and jiggled up the arthritis in her joints. Nothing broken or serious. Got some painkillers and only short walks for a few days to see how the old girl goes.

Just been out to put the recycling bin out

It is due to be collected tomorrow - possibly because the counsel website is covered with warnings that collection may be cancelled due to weather

Anyway - damn cold out there - weather stations say its -3
which is about what it feels like!!

It's pretty cold at the moment and forecast to get down to -5⁰ in the early hours. Not as cold as up in the frozen north though.

anyway - so I have to go out soonish

in the meantime - I'm worried
most house I can see from the front windows have put their recycling bins out
It is Thursday (I had to check!) but when I checked it said the collection is tomorrow

so I'm unsure whether to take the high road (and be smug) and leave it - or join the sheep just in case there has been an announcement I have missed!!

Just takes one to put a bin out early and they all follow
