Coooeeee. 12 deg here and we have had torrential rain all night, still going strong. Very windy as well no fireworks here And it's like the middle of the night here it's so dark

Good morning all.
It's a bit windy out there, but not raining yet.
Christmas decorations are coming down today, we've had enough of them.
I'll be out with the dog soon and I'll do a session on the turbo in the man cave.
That's the plan for today

Happy New Year everyone.
Still suffering from this cold thingy and general 'can't be arsedness'.
Went to bed at 10pm last night and slept through to 7am - which was nice.

Great start to 2025. Trying a little run and tripped and fell quite heavily after a mile and a half.

I now have a sore and bruised shoulder and elbow and 4 cut and bruised fingers. I should really stick to the roads as it was just after I turned onto the trail. Just caught my toe on something. I don’t seem to lift my feet as much as I should.

Try to look at it in a positive light Mo, I usually come a cropper at least once a year, you have got your tumble out of the way already and can look forward to the year ahead, while the rest of us venture out with a feeling of trepidation 🤞

The wind and rain have stopped, leaving us with a dank, wet, grey day.

No plans for the day. Perhaps The Great Escape will be on telly?

I finally quit running for good last year after screwing my achiles. It's the most dangerous means of keeping fit devised by humankind.
