Morning. Heavy rain and a strong wind here. I won’t be venturing out this morning.

Good morning all.
Another cloudy, damp day in prospect here.
The usual dog walking and domestics to be done, then I have to telephone the admissions office of Chase farm hospital for my knee replacement appointment.
MrsP is expecting a parcel so I'll be waiting in for that as MrsP is at work until 2pm.
I'm going to set the turbo up in the kitchen and have an hour or so session whilst I am waiting in.

Good morning. MONDAY. I want you all to hold on to this valuable piece of information. Not only is it Monday but the skies are clear, the breeze is gentle and we will ride. I have no idea what state my legs are in.

Other than that a few domestics to deal with not much of concern is happening. I'll try to get the ironing done before my ride.

That really is all that's on the agenda.

The first of the bin lorries have just come down our road. The general rubbish one will be down in a couple of hours time. The collections are back to normal from today.

Was going to a tip run today but Mrs D is complaining her back hurts so ill scrub that plan.

Talking of long term marriages, I have been married for very nearly 52 years to the same Mr WD. I am afraid I am stuck with him now.

Not much planned for today.

Still snotty, another day of staying in the warm.
Having our landline disconnected today as part of our new broadband contract; it only gets used by scam callers anyway, so won't be missed.
New desktop tower being delivered today, hopefully.

I've unlocked the shed and one of my bicycles in readiness for a ride to t'other side of town this morning.

I'm ready to ride. To my eternal shame I have had to check the council website for bin collection day. I have a system. Failed last week. I haven't a clue for this week. There that's another piece of vital information that keeps me on the straight and narrow.

I’ve been for a 20 mile tootle in Germany this morning.

Good morning folks. Grey and still at the moment. Daughter and grandson are heading back to Leeds soon, I put their car on the granny charger overnight and it switched itself off after 28kW went in. I could make a few bob by charging her the average EV motorway charger rate but hey, it's family 🤣
