Well! Finding serial numbers on FFWD wheels is a lot easier than one might expect. Next to the valve is a flash with the number printed on it!!

I tried the di2 app. I managed to check the battery level. 👍 It shows interesting stats as well. For example the time spent in each gear. That genuinely interests me to help balance my endurance, speed, climbing etc. Not many stats interest me, but this one does.

I've just sat down with a G&T thinking I would study the gear stats. It's only possible to do this when the app is connected to the di2 unit. Frustrating but also impressive if the shifting system is recording and storing data.

Back home now. Although I have enjoyed our stay in North Devon , it is always nice to be at home.
Now , we have a dilemma. Our grand daughter has had a litter of labrador puppies. They are now 8 weeks old and she has one left .
Her name is Lucie and she is beautiful. Mrs G and I are very tempted to have her but I am a bit concerned how Molly will react to a new companion.
We are seeing her again tomorrow and will have to make a decision. What to do ??

A lot depends on what age Molly is? Maybe not fair to expect an old dog to cope with a puppy, but if Molly is still under 10, it would probably work. I do like Labradors
